Who we are

This site is operated by Phara0h Productions, an alternative-music events promoter based in Paramaribo, Republic of Suriname. If you have any question about this policy or about data we hold on you, contact us at phara0hproductions@gmail.com or +597 8829485.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, through one of six forms on this site:

• Contact form (/contact) — your name, email address, whether you're contacting us as a fan or an artist, and your message.
• Artist registration (/artiesten/register) — your name, email address, genres, a short bio, and up to three external links.
• Vendor registration (/vendors/register) — your business name, email address, type of business, a short description, and optionally a website, phone number, and up to three external links.
• Venue registration (/locations/register) — your venue name, email address, address, a short description, and optionally a website, phone number, and up to three external links.
• Newsletter signup (footer and /fan-scene) — your email address only.
• “Roast Me” community feedback (/fan-scene) — an optional name and your message.

We do not use any other forms on this site to collect personal information.

How we store and use it

Submissions are stored as plain records on Phara0h Productions' own server, for the founder to review directly. We use them only for the purpose you submitted them for — replying to your message, considering your registration, sending the newsletter, or reading your feedback. Form submissions may also be forwarded to Make.com and Google Sheets, which Phara0h Productions uses as processors to help review and organize inquiries — they don't use your information for their own purposes. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else. To slow down spam, the forms keep a short-lived counter per visitor: a one-way, salted hash of your IP address plus submission times, never the address itself. It is cleared out automatically after about an hour.

This site can use Google Analytics 4, but only after you actively accept analytics in the cookie banner — it is off by default and never runs until you say yes. You can change that choice at any time on the Cookie Policy page. We do not use advertising or marketing pixels.

Cookies and browser storage

This site uses localStorage to remember your dark/light theme, your English/Dutch language preference, and your cookie/analytics decision (stored under the key pp-consent-v1), and sessionStorage to remember that you dismissed the location-welcome banner and to cache the detected country/city for that browsing session only. None of these identify you or are used to track you across sites. Location detection

To show a relevant welcome message, we detect your approximate country and city. Where possible this uses a country header already provided by our hosting platform; when that isn't available, your browser looks it up directly via ipapi.co, an IP-lookup service. That request goes from your browser straight to ipapi.co, so ipapi.co sees your IP address; we don't send, store or log it for this. The result is kept in your browser for that session only.

Your rights

Because this site is built for an international and diaspora audience as well as Suriname, we honor GDPR-style rights as good practice, even though Suriname's domestic law doesn't require it: you can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing phara0hproductions@gmail.com. We'll act on reasonable requests promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add new tools that change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this policy first to describe plainly what's been added and why. This policy is kept in step with what the site actually does.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Suriname.
