We'd rather this page be short and accurate than long and generic. Here is exactly what this site stores in your browser — no more, no less. This page is general information, not legal advice.

Analytics — only if you say yes

This site can use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which pages matter — things like which pages get visited and roughly where from. It is off by default. The first time you visit, a small bar at the bottom of the page asks whether you accept or decline. Declining is exactly as easy as accepting. No Google Analytics script runs and no analytics cookie is set until you actively accept, and you can change your mind at any time (see below). We never use advertising or marketing cookies.

Only if you accept, Google Analytics sets:

• _ga — distinguishes visitors, expires after about 2 years.
• _ga_<container-id> — persists your Analytics session state, expires after about 2 years.

These are first-party cookies set by this site, read by Google Analytics. IP addresses are truncated before storage. We don't use Analytics to identify you personally, and we don't share this data for advertising.

Strictly necessary cookies

The only cookie this site sets regardless of your choice above is a strictly necessary, httpOnly authentication cookie, used solely when the Phara0h Productions founder signs in to the private admin dashboard to review form submissions. It is not set for ordinary visitors browsing the public site, cannot be read by JavaScript, and does not track you in any way.

Local storage (not cookies)

Separately from cookies, this site uses small pieces of local browser storage, all purely functional:

• localStorage remembers your dark/light theme preference, so we don't ask again on your next visit.
• localStorage remembers your English/Dutch language preference, so we don't ask again on your next visit.
• localStorage remembers your cookie/analytics choice (accepted, declined, and when), so we don't ask again every visit.
• sessionStorage remembers that you dismissed the location-welcome banner and caches the detected country/city for the current browsing session only, so it is not looked up again on every page.

None of these identify you or are shared with anyone — they exist only to make the site behave sensibly while you use it and to remember the choice you make below.

Location detection

The country/city shown in the welcome banner is detected server-side when you first arrive, using hosting-platform headers or an IP lookup. The result is kept in sessionStorage for the current browsing session only; it is not stored in a cookie and not logged anywhere.

Change your choice

You can accept or decline analytics at any time — this doesn't affect any other part of the site.
